The Open Homebrew Channel can be installed to emulated NANDs usingModMii’s Emulated NAND Builder or Modifier. XFlak, for his wonderful ModMii which supported d2x wads since its birth. Without ModMii d2x cios would probably never have existed. Also, XFlak had the original idea to replace the buggy EHCI module of cIOSX rev21 with the working one from rev19.

Habitually running ModMii from a networklocation is not advised. But this doesn’t mean I’m getting rid of my Beta 52. I bring this one to most of my gigs because I’ve found that sound support is more used to this mic than the 91. It’s also a good mic to use with the 91. When placed about two inches away from the resonant head, this mic compliments the 91 very well.

The Beta 56 has a slightly less pronounced presence peak than the Beta 57A, but is again a general‑purpose model especially suited to drum and instrument amplifier miking. The mic has a very short body and an integral swivel stand adaptor which makes it particularly good at getting into tight spots, such as between drums and cymbal stands. It is well suited to miking snares as well as toms and also works well with brass and woodwind. ModMii supports transferring archives (zip, 7z, rar) both with andwithout an /apps/ folder (e.g. usbloader_gx or apps/usbloader_gx). Added a new option to ModMii Classic’s main menu to open a File orFolder with ModMii, behaves same as drag and drop except it does notsupport opening multiple items at once.

Shure produces some of the most-used dynamic microphones ever to be manufactured, including the legendary SM7B, SM57, and SM58. These mics are great all-rounders, but the Beta 52A is designed more specifically. None of these mistakes (or oversights) bother me. I’d much rather learn what works in my home recording studio than in a top shelf studio on someone else’s dime. A mount is attached to the microphone’s chassis, which adds to its solidity. It has a heavy feel, which is a good sign as you don’t want a flimsy microphone that is too lightweight to withstand some wear and tear. Likewise, I add a high pass filter (or cut low-mid frequencies) to the 91 at use it to smooth out the tone of the drum. With the lows handled well by the 52, the two mics mixed are great compliments to natural drum sound.

Removed FAT ISO loading support from DIP plugin (never used by any loader and completely useless now thanks to fraglist capability added in v6). Fixed an EHCI issue in ReadCapacity that prevented certain usb devices from working (tnx to digicroxx).

When the mic is attached to a stand, it can be tightened to the point where there’s no chance of it coming loose with ease.
