The high-quality paper range they are offering at an affordable price, smooth blending capabilities, are perfectly usable to any brand of art instruments. There’s a distinct shade difference between “Natural white” and “Bright white”. You may not catch the difference right away but scanners and artists are wary of the subject.

Copic marker sheets are designed for use with Copic Multiliners, various types of markers, pens and pencils. There are no set rules on what mediums may be used on a Copic marker sheet as long as the markers do not bleed through to the other side. The size of paper is also crucial in your creative process and will determine how much ink it takes to work on your artwork. The best advice is to just experiment and see what you like best. You might be surprised with the results!

If the Copic markers are used by themselves, however, some artists prefer not to have the grid present as it creates a “vein-like” appearance in the artwork. However, the confusion is rational, but it is frustrating when trying to determine whether or not a marker paper is decent. Well, you can. It is not the law that you must use the proper paper but why would you want to end up with inferior results? Surely you wish for your creation to come to life as beautifully and vividly as you have imagined. The main problems you are going to encounter when using non-specific paper will be the roughness of the texture preventing a smooth stroke, the paper is too porous or equally not porous enough so the ink bleeds or ghosts and problems may arise when you are trying to blend.

Is the weight of the paper important?

As an illustrator, you can use pencil, charcoal, or even a solvent-based marker to sketch something beautiful. It is able to cut really fine detail and decoration. If your marker is missing and you’re not sure, let me know in the comments and I will try to find out) The pulp that watercolour paper is composed of determines its strength, abrasion resistance, longevity, and price. Acid-free Wood Pulp The smoothness of white surfaces allow easy and perfect coloring of a subtle area with a marker. The coating helps reduce high consumption of expensive marker ink. That could be a plus for professional users.

As for covers, hardbound covers have more to offer in terms of protection and longevity than paper or fabric covers. The latter, however, makes portability a breeze as they make the book/pad lighter Acid-FreeTracing paper – See through to allow you to copy through it, smooth to allow the drawing of fine lines. For obvious reasons, it has a short lifespan. Because the paper does not have to be white, high-quality materials are not required, and mechanical pulp, including residue, is used in the manufacturing process.
