Pull the pin and throw or drop Seedboms into areas that are in need of brightening up. Seedboms like bare soil, natural light and to be kept damp whilst growing. Full instructions are included on inside of each Seedbom sleeve. I love the discussions we have had after reading this book; Mr D in particular is unsure if the tiger is real or not… and I love that he is at this stage of his comprehension at the moment too where he can ask questions and I can help aid his understanding of the story. The story touches on some lovely philosophical ideas which can be challenging for adults let alone children to consider, but it does so in such a gentle way.

Nora refuses to believe outlandish tales of dragonflies as big as birds, grumpy polar bears, or a magnificent tiger all allegedly residing in Grandma's garden. Nora's too old for silly games. But this charming debut picture book proves one is never too young or too old to dream. Full color. If you don’t have a lot of space, you can even grow these wildflowers in pots. We recommend you choose one that’s at least 30 cm wide to give them enough space to thrive.Nora, when visiting her grandma, suffers a severe case of boredom. Encouraged by grandma to explore outside on the pretext that she believes there to be a tiger living in the garden. Doubtful of this, young Nora and her toy giraffe, Jeff, nevertheless embark on an adventure which sees them encounter carnivorous plants, dragonflies, a grumpy polar bear, and the fabled tiger. 'Extraordinarily friendly' and polite, the tiger and Nora become firm friends once the latter has convinced herself that he is indeed real.

Exploring the power of the imagination, we invite families to follow Nora as she discovers the wonders lurking beneath the hydrangeas and hidden beyond the shrubbery. Come and listen, play, engage and enjoy the brilliance of this story brought to life for the first time. Research the animals in the book. Look at their habitat, food they eat. In a class situation, each child finds one interesting fact they did not know before to share with the class. We hope to create a relaxed environment for all performances and welcome SEND families to any of our shows. This year we will also be creating one specific SEND performance accompanied by a visual story. If you can't make this performance but hope to attend another show with a family member who would benefit from this, please let us know. If and when the weather brightens up I plan to set up a little hunt for the children in our own garden – I’m going to get a picture of dragonflies, a polar bear and a tiger and make into a jigsaw; hiding the pieces around out garden for them to find; although the way our weather is at the moment that could be some time away! The afternoon before Mr H arrived I did a craft activity with Mr D and Miss E based on a new favourite books of ours – the wonderful There’s a Tiger in the Garden by Lizzy Stewart.Working closely with Lizzy Stewart, this is the first time the book has been presented as a piece of live theatre by this new, local company. There S A Tiger In The Garden written by Lizzy Stewart and has been published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018 with Juvenile Fiction categories.
