Stephanie wrote: "I cried from laughing too hard also-and that was before I could even see the GIFs. Like with this one, though, I'm going to force myself to engage in delayed gratification by taking a little break over the month of December to read new releases by a couple of my favorite authors, as well as some Christmas stories, but it's going to be tough. My first thoughts on the audio book were that the narrator, Becca Battoe, did not whatsoever convey the mild personality of Anastasia Steele. I have to agree with you on this because for every instance where I was like, "Hey, that might be fun.

All this and 2 extra dramatic episodes occur as 2 of Christian's ex-subs turn up: Leila, who is mentally unstable, and Elena, who was Christian's older woman affair and the one who Ana grows to hate, quite strongly.Whether it is her need to try to help him recover from his past or just the raw physical attraction/needs she has , she can't stay away. Then he ends up at Leila's side, stroking her hair, trying to chillaxe the crazy broad, and Ana starts getting jealous! One of Christian's "ex-subs" (that's ex-submissive for those who aren't in the know *wink wink*) is wandering around, apparently armed and gunning for Ana.

Soon she is learning more about the harrowing past of her damage, driven and demanding Fifty Shades than she ever thought possible. The New Zealand Herald stated that the book "will win no prizes for its prose" and that "there are some exceedingly awful descriptions", but it was also an easy read; "(If you only) can suspend your disbelief and your desire to – if you'll pardon the expression – slap the heroine for having so little self respect, you might enjoy it. However, for those seeking a more literary read/listen, then I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. In March 2012, branches of the public library in Brevard County, Florida, removed copies of Fifty Shades of Grey from their shelves, with an official stating that it did not meet the selection criteria for the library and that reviews for the book had been poor. In spite of numerous shocking revelations, Ana is so very loving, forgiving, and understanding of Christian's past, including his exs who cause her no end of grief in this book. This book sounds great but the narrators voice is terrible, really irratating, which you wouldnt pick up on from the sample but as she has to repeat the same awful 'Oh My's' and 'Holy Sxxt's on average every couple of minutes it really goes through you. Daunted by the dark secrets of the tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey , Ana Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a US publishing house.

It's a beautiful love story that's about two people, one who's deeply broken but trying to find his way out of the dark, and the other who is completely accepting of him, flaws and all, coming together and figuring out what the future holds for them. Ana is disgusted that Christian continues to be friends with the woman who seduced him when he was only 15 years old. While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.Occasionally he can be a bit aggravating, particularly with his reticence about his past, but I like how Ana challenges him to see things differently and how he's willing to make accommodations for her.

She knows how to use a thesaurus, but since that only results in one completely out of place word every other chapter or so, she's not convincing anyone. Karla (Mossy Love Grotto) wrote: "If I see a bunch of adjectives about a character, my eyes glaze over.I cry myself to sleep at night, wishing I hadn't walked out, wishing that he could be different, wishing that we were together. Her books have been published in fifty languages and have sold more than 165 million copies worldwide. Daunted by the singular sexual tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. The 2 of them get back together and the usual hot, steamy sex continues, albeit with Ana occasionally questioning him whether she's 'enough for him'.
