This perfume was created by perfumers Amandine Marie and Michel Almairac in 2008, for the French fashion brand Chloé. I always find it pleasurable to encounter it in public and love how the litchi sweetens the rose while the peony and freesia freshen and lighten the scent. It also packs a punch and can last for hours on the skin, so I wouldn't overspray so that it doesn't end up being cloying. I hate this and I have hated this ever since I first smelled it as a child, it was so popular then and I didn't know what it was, I just knew it was just one particular perfume that made me feel sick.

On first spritz it smelled like acetone nail polish remover, then it settles down into a fruity/floral scent that is reminiscent of rose, but not quite rose, to my nose.I had a friend with me while I was trying the perfume and I had him sniff it too to get a guy's idea. Chloe reminds me of rain, breezy autumn morning and the fresh beginnings in life, even though I'm not a floral person it stole my heart there is something pure about it, the blend of airy and rosy notes makes you feel like a princess, I think princess Anneliese in Barbie the princess and the pauper would smell like this. As it dries out, the initial harshness (that clean almost sterile smell) wears out into a pleasant summer bouquet-unrequited, easy-going, like a quick nap in a summer flower garden.
