Description

Chief Superintendent William Warwick and his trusty comrade Inspector Ross Hogan, seasoned pros in guiding prized Crown Jewels through the labyrinth of London, face a conundrum.

Anyone not familiar with this author's writing may see the first half of Next in Line as not having much happening because all the action takes place quite late in the book. Warwick finds himself and the heart of the cases, but only time will tell if he can catch the killers before it's too late.Added to this, they are also dealing with the fallout of the previous novel with Miles Faulkner and Booth Watson (I don't want to spoil too much here for people who haven't read the previous novels). Archer knows storytelling and has pulled me in on many an occasion with his flights of fancy and historical perspectives. The fifth in the William Warwick series and the second one I have read, this one was hugely enjoyable.

A matchless spinner of engrossing tales, Jeffrey Archer is a bestselling British novelist and former politician. Another fantastic novel from Archer and has left us on a cliffhanger with a new book promised next year.Meanwhile, Harry campaigns for the release of author Anatoly Babakov who has been imprisoned in Siberia, and may put his life in danger in the process . Prince William “Cannot Forgive” Prince Harry, According to ‘The New Royals’ Author Katie Nicholl Prince William “just cannot forgive his brother,” according to Katie Nicholl, author of 'The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown. I appreciated the quicker pace of Next In Line compared to a couple of the earlier books in the series.

His political career, having suffered several controversies, ended after a conviction for perverting the course of justice and his subsequent imprisonment. Released as one of a limited number of digital shorts released to celebrate the publication of Jeffrey Archer's magnificent seventh short-story collection, Tell T. The same trio of Miles, Booth-Watson and Christina did not inspire much incentive to read the book at a fast pace. Once again, Archer has delivered an entertaining book filled with an appealing cast of detectives as well as Warwick’s loving and supportive family including his wife Beth and their children. On his way home from market, the thirteen-year-old son of a Roman magistrate stationed in Judea encounters a foreign couple taking shelter in a manger behind a roadside inn and becomes caught up in the miraculous events of the first Christmas.Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. First of all, I didn’t realise that this was part of a series and was therefore expecting a plot based on protecting a key member of the Royal Family. Maverick ex-undercover operative Ross Hogan is charged with a very sensitive - and unique - responsibility. Mightier than the Sword opens with an IRA bomb exploding during the MV Buckingham's maiden voyage across the Atlantic - but how many passengers lose their lives?
